Where Can I Read Or Download An Auto Repair Manual Online For Free?

I have a 1976 Chevy Nova with a straight 6 (whatever that means, my brother always says it! LOL) and I really need the manual to make some simple repairs.

Check with your local public library. Ours offers online repair data from two sources – one called EBSCO which you can read from home by entering your library card number online, and a better one called ALLDATA that you can only access at the library. But both are free!
Additionally, you probably can check out a Chilton or Haynes from your library.
Sadly enough if you are doing the repairs and you don’t know what a Straight six is then your best bet is to take it to a mechanic. Other than that it’s going to be hard to find any information or Manual online for that vehicle. Might have to look up Haynes Manual for it online and order it.
go to auto zone .com. puch in the car, and follow the links, and press print. have alot of paper
