When I first start up my truck and it is cool, the a/c works fine. If I get up to over 30mph in a couple of minutes, the a/c will continue to work fine. However, if I stay under 30mph (on neighborhood streets, or traffic or stop and go situations), after a few minutes, I will hear a switch (as though something shuts off) and then warm-hot air is blown out. If I get up to 30mph or more, it blows cold again. I have been researching and trust that this is the A/C Clutch or maybe the Condensor Fan??? Can anyone reaffirm that for me? I am curious about how much it costs to repair or replace either of those.
FYI — if it is hot outside or the truck is warm and has not been sitting for a while, the cold air stops being blown sooner than when it has been sitting cold for hours.

I have a 1993 toyota camry that vibrates alot when I am at a stop light/sign. I took it to the dealership and the mechanic told me that the balance shaft inside the cam is damaged but I can put the car in neutral to stop the vibration. He also told me that I can go another 100,000miles like that. Is this true? I also called another toyota dealership and he said that it would cost a couple of thousands of dollars to repair and it is not worth it because my car is so old. He told me that my engine will go soon. Is this true? Both dealerships answers are conflicting. I am really trying to avoid a car payment.

Having no problems with the alternator, but I am experiencing a very loud chattering coming from the pully (bearings). It is the 5 cylinder engine and the truck has about 52K miles on it.

I know that the alternator is the reason why my car is not starting…is this a part that IU can just repair or will I need to get a new one? Where can I get the parts I will need to get my car running again fairly cheaply so that a friend of mine can do the repair?
