i have a mercury 9.8 that shuts down from full throttle as soon as it gets hot. I take the cover off and the motor is smoking because it is so hot. do i need to flush something or do i have a piston problem?

but i have a high threshold for pain, and i’m still very flexible.
NOW, recently I started having BAD siatica and leg pain down my left leg. CONSTANT, for about a month now.
Today I did an excercise I used to do in PT, I lay on my back with knees bent, (like the crunches position) contract the abs, squeeze the buttocks, and bridge your back, so you’re flat and butt off the floor. (in this position the only things touching the floor is your feet, head and shoulders)
This made my leg pain go away, INSTANTLY. my back pain too. it’s never done this. honest to god. it feels like a miracle. i feel like i might be cured.
am i crazy? is it going to come back?
did i do something really bad???

I hit a curb while making a U-turn in a 2006 Mercedes C230 Sport. The incident caused scuffing along the edge of the wheel, and a large scuff on the actual “spoke” that is very noticable.

I have a 1997 Toyota Previa. The driver’s side door will not open from the inside nor the outside. Everytime I have to get in to the car from the passenger side door. No matter if I lock or unlock the door, it refuses to open. I am pretty sure it is a mechanical problem. The car has not been in any accidents.
I want to know, what is the cost to repair this problem? Also, the third row of seats (there are 2 of them, but technically 3) do not have any seat belt buckles. There are 3 seatbelts in the proper places, but 0 seat belt buckles (the things that you plug the seatbelt into). Any ideas as to where the seat belt buckles are??? How much to have these installed?

I have a situation and i need others’ opinions on this.
I have a car (from BHPH lot)which i am still paying on but the payoff is $1,500(dealer says if i payoff early he’ll give me a discount on the price)how much i don’t know. Also the car is having a few problems(some say blown head gasket)so i got an estimate on the work and that will be $900(includes water pump and timing belt change)But anyways what would you do?
1. stop paying on car and get car fixed, then just double up on payments til it’s paid off. (i would need a month and a half to save)so maybe two missed payments.
or
2.Call dealer and ask to waive this month’s payment(May 28th) in exchange for 1000 to 1200 dollar payoff next month June 25th.
But let’s keep in mind I really need my car up and running now because my job is kinda far from my house(45mins) and public transportation is not in my area. The only way i’m getting back and forth to work right now is a co-worker who lives close to me(10-12mins away), but i can tell she doesn’t want to pick up and drop me off anymore(we’ve been riding together for 2 months now.) I understand her feelings so i just want to get out of this situation asap. It’s hard trying to save up for car repairs and pay my car note at the same time but i can do one at a time fairly easy. so let me know what you guys think.
the 900 dollars is for head gasket replacement,water pump and timing belt. Oh and of course i’m paying gas money(that would be rude)
