My check ending light just came on and I took my car to Midas and they told me it was my catalytic converter. The part is going to cost me 710 and 150 for labor. I have a feeling I’m being taken for a fool… I looked online and some of the converters that I saw cost about 250. How much should I reasonably pay for this repair?

I have a 98 Chevy Tracker and was wondering if any parts from, a Suzuki Geo or Tracker would be compatible. I read Chevy bought the Geo in 98 and all the parts are the same but they just changed the stickers.
I’m looking for a new Soft Top and new Door Handles, just wondering if the parts from the Geo are compatible.

I did some research online for the cost of replacing a lower bypass radiator hose for 1998 Ford Taurus. The bill is over $400.00. Parts are $230 for a lower radiator hose and labor $185.00. I did some research on the RepairPal.com and the parts and labor should only be half that.
I have a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited 4×4. It now has 240,000 miles on it. The body is in almost perfect condition. I am looking for suggestions on where to buy parts for the engine rebuild (4.7 v8) or a rebuild kit that includes everything. Just curious on how many would suggest doing the rebuild vs buying a low miles used engine. What would cost difference be between these two methods? Thanks.
