Running a car on a burnt ignition coil?

I have a 1995 Mitsubishi Montero and the far right ignition coil seemed to be arching and burn a hole in the top of it. I have been running it like this for about 2 weeks now and haven’t noticed any problems. I have about 150 more miles before i can make it back home i was wondering if i could make it back and replace it when i return.

i have a 92 S-10 it starts when I put on new ignition coil but wont start again and no spark what do i do?

I just purchased a 1978 Honda Twinstar and was wondering if I need to replace my ignition coil. I removed it this evening and measured its resistance with an ohm meter. It is registering at .6 ohms.

Could I use an ignition coil for lights KX100?

I can’t find any company still selling the lighting coil for the KX100. Could I buy another ignition coil and bolt it on also and get a regulator and use it to power auxiliary electronics, or buy a lighting coil for another bike like a KDX? If you know, where is the website of a company selling the KX100 lighting coil? I already tried ebay.

ive tried charging the battery overnight, and jumping it and it still wont start and its a brand new ignition coil, when i try to start it it sounds like the battery is dying slowly then it stops starting up starters good and so is distributor cap plz help me!!!

Like it says above, I have two separate keys for the car. But I heard that Ford cars only use one side of the key at any given time, meaning there really is no point of the double sided key except so people aren’t annoying by having to put the key in the door or ignition. So I was wondering if it would be possible for me to get a key cut that has the ignition on one side and the doors on the other. What do you guys think?

Why would an ignition coil not throw any spark when the coil itself is new and seemingly not defective?

I have gone through 2 ignition coils consecutively with the exact same result, within a two week span. I even changed out the distributor cap wires and still no avail.
I have a 1976 Plymouth Volare (318) and I have already swaped out the control module, resistor, and voltage regulator.

Plans: img411.imageshack.us Water Arc Ignition, High Voltage Plasma Lightning Ball. It is a very simple circuit devised of a 5kV coil, and a 0.5mF capacitor. These are some of the concepts I wanted to discuss with people who are interested in the subject. Currently I came across some designs for making water explode but without a hydrogen electrolysis process. By generating a plasma electrical wave you can ignite water at rates of 4500 Meters a Second. It creates an extremely strong shock wave through the air. Another aspect of this theory is that you can mist water into your cylinders, or a cold water vapor. Then generate a plasma spark ignition with a standard spark plug or a firestorm plug of some sort. This video is evidence that a plasma ignition in water will make a shock wave and in turn the ability to explode water inside your cylinder. Could this have been Stanley Meyers final design before he was poisoned? Did he hold the future of the combustible engine in the palm of his hand. Water mist injector, with a plasma plug?
