What just happened with my transmission?

Okay, I drive a 1996 Ford E-150. Has about 180K on it. Anyways I’ve noticed the transmission has been slipping and not going into gear when it should and has been pretty erratic when driving down the road (automatic) Anyways, this morning I was driving about 20 mph and I heard gears grinding. It started to get worse and my co-worker who was riding with me said sometimes it just gets stuck between gears…and if you just rev it up or go faster it will free it and go back into the correct gear. So I stepped on the gas, but the gear grinding didn’t stop it just got worse until all of a sudden we heard this BOOM and the van just stopped in the road. I tried to put it in P R or 1 and 2 gear and the handle won’t budge. I looked underneath and there is red fluid gushing out on the road. Did I seriously just destroy my transmission? And I’m pretty sure it’s not worth replacing?

The car was parked in the driveway, and the transmission slipped out of park, and the car rolled back!! When we checked, the car was still in park!! The dealer could find nothing wrong?
I live in Cali, no way ice can form!

Front strut is damaged on 2006 Saturn Vue. Probably happened when the left front end of the car was hit.?

If a fender-bender caused the broken strut, will Saturn replace it under the 3 year/36000 mile warranty? If I have to pay for it, should I replace the one broken strut or both front struts? Will I need a new alignment after the strut (or struts) is installed? Most important, what is the average cost to replace both front struts on a 2006 Saturn Vue? I need the cost broken down into parts and labor.

Big Girl Bike

I try not to laugh or even grin
As she tries her hardest to go

Her new Barbie bike Santa brought

But it was more than I could bear.

I got her off that bike of hers
Adjusted here and there
Then back on the bike she went
With everything now in repair

With just a little push to her
She took off in a dash
The biggest smile on her face
She was riding like a flash!

What a happy little girl she is
Now that she knows how
To ride that big bike of hers

Edit: Oh she’s my great niece and the bike has training wheels because she’s only 3 almost 4.

i purchased a used 96 ford explorer and when i tried to get it inspected they told me i need to get the camshaft position sensor fixed in order for it to pass. what is this and if it is not fixed quickly what will happen to my car. also how much does a part cost and where can i get it fixed or find info on it in durham, NC?

Why are all the modern american muscle cars all boats? If they put a moderate sized v8 into something tiny, you could still squeeze out decent mpg with running on a couple of cylinders on the highway. and just throw a hybrid motor on for under 30mph. Would any one else prefer a modern equivalent of the chevy 2 with 350hp/327(or a ford or chrysler equivalent for the non chevy enthusiasts). The hemi cars, the new mustang, the new camaro are all probably well over 3500lb. why?
I guess nobody has testicles anymore!

It all sounds suspicious since people saw the Supra racing a Viper and then a few minutes after the wreck the Hulk shows up without his wife at the accident. in a Viper…not the most common car. And if he was called at home about the accident why would he take the Viper to the accident instead of the s.u.v. they own.. Something smells awfully fishy.. hhhmmmm

What Happened To My Truck Today?

I smelled something and I thought it was this new tar or something, but when I left the area I was at, my right front tire area had smoke coming out of it.
I stopped the truck and there was a little smoke coming out and I decided to go to a gas station where I stopped it again it looked like it was coming from the left side. I went down the road a bit more and after I stopped again the smell/smoke stopped.
What was the problem? Did I burn my tires, or my breaks, was it my engine -I put coolant when I got home….? WHAT?!
