My head gaskets going on my 97 cavalier and I don’t have a way of getting up to a store to buy anymore antifreeze after I use the BarsLeak. So could I just take the drained antifreeze I drained prior to the treatment back in as a substitute for now?
Wondering if it is possible for a mazda protege 1990, just because i’m tired of repairing the automatic one. What extra parts do I need for the conversion and is it possible?
Ok so about year ago I got into a accident (I drive a c230 mercedes benz sport). I was waiting behind a suv at a red light and some guy comes from behind at like 50 mph and hits me well I hit the guy in front but nothing happens to the guy in front because he had a reece on the back of his suv so he walked away with no scratch on his car. But my cars front and rear were smashed in literally, but the air bags didn’t deploy so It wasn’t to bad I believe this is because I was at a standstill and I took the hit directly so it wasn’t that bad. Any way my insurance company said they will repair it and that it wasn’t a total loss. They estimated about 15000$ or so, but in the end they paid about 26000$ for all the repairs. I bought the car at about 32000 to 34000 or so. Now about a year later a company sent me a letter telling me I can get money back for the diminished value on my car. They are asking for a third of anything I get back. They also said they were part of the state adjustor’s. I’m guessing I will get back like 10 grand or so, but is there a way to get back all the money without a company taking a chunk out of it?…..Oh and also the guy who hit me didn’t have insurance at the time, but I’m guessing he does now so how could that effect me?
sorry I made the explanation to long just read the last part of the paragraph I wrote if you dont want to read the full story.
2002 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L V8. Lots of people told me the whining/humming noise was the power steering pump, well after about $80 bucks for a new one I found out the same noise is still there!! Very frustrating. I don’t know what it could be. I know it’s not the transmission though, I took off the serpitine belt completely and it did NOT make the noise…so what could it be? Alternator, AC compressor, other pulley’s, racks & pinons? Help please….
Test drive after clutch repair and adjustement. Camera was mounted on tanker’s “helmet”. See what the driver is seeing. Ps. Sorry for heavy breathing, mic seems to pick that up too well
I have a 1993 manual ford probe gt that i just bought. I have a few questions regarding it:
1- Two lights -fuel cut and anti lock- are showing up on my dash and a noisy beep probably because of them. Need to know what they mean and how to deal with them? BTW, the cars runs very smooth without any prob.
2- How can I check and fill up the transmission oil?
3- The fog lights are not working. Does that mean bulbs are gone, something not good at the fuse box, or i don’t know how to turn them on?
4- How much Watts are the headlight bulbs?
I would truly appreciate for answering my questions.
This has been bugging me for a while now. All I remember is a mini van like car driving on the highway and a bloody hand reaches up from the trunk (inside the car) and writes on the window “help” or “help me” or something like that. I got the impression that the person was tied up in the back or something. That’s all I remember…
I purchased a 2009 Marin Stinson 17″ Bike from REI About two days ago. On my first ride home, I was stopped at a light and attempted to pedal, the bike went no where. I realized the chain had become dislodged, I brought it back to the store immediatley to the bike department. The bike mechanic fixed it and told me that this is typical of brand new bikes within the first 100 miles because the spring is so new it springs the chain off. I took his word for it… fast foward a day later im riding home doing about 15 MPH down a hill and it happens again. I am thrown off my bike and slammed on the sidewalk, right now my wrist is throbbing and the bike sustained a decent amount of damage as well (reflector snapped off, front break broken, scratches, etc.). My question to you bike experts is 1) Why did this happen? 2) Im assuming the technician in the store wasnt honest with me? Please drop some knowlege as I am under the impression i’ve been sold not only a non functional product but one that puts me in harms way.
I googled it and it sounds pretty much like its a vent hose for the rear axle. It is still connected to the axle it is dragging on the ground tho. Can anybody tell me where the other end of the hose connects to on the truck?

I saw a few people around who had these kinds of mics and I searched youtube and couldnt find anything on them so I got my own phone, figured it out and made this how to video. Really simple mod. Did it in less than an hour on a sunday afternoon. Really cool Low-Fi sound that’s nice on stage or in the studio. Leave comments if you found it helpful or anything, maybe links to bands using these cool kinds of mics.
