My mechanic say I have a bad upper ball joint, lower ball joint, a bad wheel bearing but the repair bill is $800,00 Dollars to fix this I am a low middle class person live life pay to check. My question is I think that the Government should fix this for free because it is a safety issue , I means I can be driving at the highway at speed of 70 mph or 80 mph if the tires come off it can hurt or kill the other driver.
A friends of my was driving on the interstate 40 when all of the suddenly a vechile wheel came off with no warning at all in broke my friend windshield she was lucky that she dint get hurt, but the vechile that wheel came off roll over.
My opinion is that the gov should fix this or at least lower down the prices on part and labor on suspension parts because this is ridiculous or at least help middle class people to buy new vechile. I might write a letter to Washington DC

My clutch went TOTALLY out on my cabby..and I do mean totally.It won’t even let the car crank.SO..I am sure that more than the clutch disc is messed up and will need replacing…but..I need to find a free manual that I can at least look at ,if not download, so that I will know what I am looking at and what most likely will be needing replacement.This was unexpected (of course..lol) so I am working on a low budget and will be darn lucky if I can get all the neccessary parts at once.Thanks to anyone who can help.(this needs to be a totally FREE manual.I don’t mind registering at a website so long as I won’t be paying anything for at least a view, if not available for downloading.)
Thanks djaca..but I think you missed the word FREE..I do realize this job is not for the novice.I have changed plenty of manual transmissions out so I have a pretty good grasp of things.I just need to know where each part goes since this is a VW and not the typical Ford/Chevy/Honda/Chrysler/ect vehicle.
