I have a 1996 ford explorer sport and the exterior door handle quit working. My boyfriend is going to change it, and he’s got it loose. The only thing holding the handle in now is the clip. He can’t figure out how to get that out. He said the rod is in the way. ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!
I have a 1997 Toyota Previa. The driver’s side door will not open from the inside nor the outside. Everytime I have to get in to the car from the passenger side door. No matter if I lock or unlock the door, it refuses to open. I am pretty sure it is a mechanical problem. The car has not been in any accidents.
I want to know, what is the cost to repair this problem? Also, the third row of seats (there are 2 of them, but technically 3) do not have any seat belt buckles. There are 3 seatbelts in the proper places, but 0 seat belt buckles (the things that you plug the seatbelt into). Any ideas as to where the seat belt buckles are??? How much to have these installed?

I am trying to help my dad find a 1958 chevy biscayne like the one he just sold.It was candy apple red with an impala steering wheel.It was perfect with edelbrock performance parts and it had really nice side pipes.The car when it was first produced in 1958,must have been a really nice car because of the way my dad desrcribed it.
My dad doesn’t want to work as hard and as long on this one as he did last time which was 7 years.
We have a 2001 Ford Windstar limited. The power sliding door on the passengers side stopped working by key fob, button, and power assist when opening with the handle. This is only a problem with the door on one side. It will open a little everynow and then when using the buttons up front or the buttons for the passenger. It gets about 6 inches open and stops. It also doesn’t even sound like it’s trying.
This procedure is good for a lot of panels out there, the Grand Am is one of the more difficult that I’ve came across. Please subscribe and thanks for watching!
I scraped the paint off of my rear car door against a fence pole. The scrape itself is about a foot long but isn’t that horrible. I can see white on the car where the scrape happened. I also chipped away a little paint at some spots and the pole left this slight indention in that area as well. Can anyone give me a estimate about how much I’m looking at to get this fixed? Would they have to repaint the entire car door to fix it or would they just be able to sand and repaint that one area?
I was thinking about taking it to the actual dealership (my car is a Hyundai so I was going to take it to the nearest Hyundai dealership). I just don’t know it they would be able to repair it? or if I would have to take it to a body shop instead.
i was locked out of my house and had no way to get in or call someone and my spare key was in my car which was parked in the garage…so i kicked my door in, busted the deadbolt, and destroyed the paneling, but didn’t break the glass. also, the side of the door where the handle should be is cracked and the screws holding the door to the hinges came out so i can’t really repair it. i managed to find a picture online that looks just like the door & panel that i had. so could anyone tell me how much it would cost to get a new door and fixed panel that looks like this?
In this video I explain the steps involved to remove a window regulator(to install a regulator just reverse the steps),install a power locks actuator,and remove the glass from a door. (the steps are basically the same for rear doors) The steps described in this video should work on most Japanese cars and possibly other cars. The steps may be different on some cars but should be basically similar. Be careful and make sure you don’t drop the glass in the door.
I dented and scuffed my car’s left rear door on a concrete pillar. The dent is very small, but the scratches/scuff marks are large and fairly deep. I have a 2007 Honda CRV. About how much will it cost for me to have it repaired?
Also, the police officers that appeared on the scene filed an accident report, does this mean that my insurance company will be notified even if I wish to pay for the repairs out of pocket?
i was pulling into a parking spot when my car scratched another guys car I looked to see if there was a scratch but i unforutnately checked the wrong spot and saw nothing, i then got a note on my window when i returned that i had scratched parts of both his side doors i think the scratches are medium sized and hopefully not very deep, but other then that i have no idea how big and deep they actually are, but if you could make an educated guess, how much might my insurance or myself have to cover this scratch with? (i have farmers and the man said he would get a quote from the dealer but it might not get repaired their if the quotes too high)

About a year ago I ripped off the rear door handle of my ’03 Black Toyota Corolla (more like I pulled it at an awkward angle). I was wondering how much this repair should cost. I am giving my girlfriend the car and would like it to be as “complete” as possible.
By the way this is the exterior door handle.
Where can I find this part? I’ve tried everything online and can’t find it.
