1st off I need to replace my power steering pump. So I called Pep Boys & they had one in stock so I took mine off and went to get it. They told me they couldn’t find it after they had told me over the phone they had it. What they had was one for a 2001 but I needed a 2002/5.9L/V-8. They spent a good 30 mins. researching to tell me the pump I took of my truck was for a Dakota or a Durango not a Ram. So I left & went to Advance Auto, they ordered the part for me & also ordered the pulley (I thought it was metal but it was plastic so when using the vice grip I broke it & had to get another one) So today I go pick them up & the pump is exactly the same as what I took off BUT the pulley they ordered for my truck was much bigger so they measured the one that came off the truck and found that the pulley was really a Dakota pulley instead (although the system pulled it up to be a Ram) Anyone had this problem before and what is going on?? I’m replacing the alternator belt on a 2000 dodge neon, and I’d like to know how to put the correct amount of tension on the new belt. I read the service manual for it and it says to use a special tool that measures frequency and pluck the belt a couple of times and adjust until the frequency reaches 224-252 Hz.
I obviouslly don’t have anything capable of measuring frequency so I was just wondering how I can tell if the belt is tightened up properly?
I have a 1992 dodge w250 with a 6 inch lift kit .the passenger side sets up a little higher than the driver side everything looks like it is mounted properly on the springs doesn’t look bad but the back end steers to the right going down the road.any Idea on how to fix it?

Whoe ever put tire on last rounded off the nut. Dakota truck with the thich alloy rims on it. Can I break the stud somehow? Cant get a vice grip in there to grab it
i have a 2001 dodge ram truck . The problem i’m having is it will start ,but wont turn over. It was running good until i put gas in it . I drove about 3 miles and the truck stalled out on me and would not start.
