Amtrak’s Auto Train just north of Sanford, FL in January, 2007. While I was setting up to record this, someone called the Seminole Co. In Oct 2009, I was in an accident where my car was hit near the rear drivers side, I was not at fault. The other insurance company paid for the damages. I took it to a dealer which I thought they would check everything since it was hit near the tire. Then in Jan I had to replace my windshield wiper bar and also replaced a wheel bearing on the front of my car which included a front end alignment. None of this was related to the accident. Two weeks ago my rear drivers side tire was making a really bad noise. found out the tire was stripped down to the belts. I called my insurance company and they said to talk to the other insurance company that took care of the accident and request a rework. I called them and they told me that it was too late to do anything. I took it to the dealership and they told me it was because I probably had a suspension problem. I took it to a tire place and they freaked out and just by looking at it the whole car was out of alignment. I bought the tires in 2008 with alignment and they only have 27000 miles on them and they have been rotated about every other oil change. So now I had to pay out of my own pocket $750 for new tires and all wheel alignment. do I have any rights on trying to sue the repair shop for not even doing an alignment when I was in the accident or do you think they slacked off on the alignment they did in Jan.

I just brought my car in for an oil change and lube service. The place I go to is pretty good about service and repairs in that I can drop my car off in the day, and pick it up in the early evening for service other than oil changes.
However, I noticed that several times (today included), the mechanic would call and say something like “We did the oil change, but noticed the other fluids could use a change — coolant, transmission, power steering.”
When they say that, are they being good mechanics by watching out to keep the cars they serve in tip-top shape or are they just giving a soft sell to make extra services?

This only happens when its cold outside… for whatever reason. I have a 99 Acura CL & the shifter gets stuck and I can’t move the stupid thing! I checked the manual, and there is actually a little slot next to the shifter where you can stick your key to move the shifter. It works normally during the afternoon when the sun comes out, but it’s a big pain to deal with. I don’t want to do this everytime I drive. How can I fix this?
I have a 95 civic dx hatchback with auto trans. I saw a JDM B18C GSR OBD2 Engine Auto Trans recently online. I was wondering if that will be a good swap . I live in San Francisco, so getting a manual trans is not an option. I fig I need a new engine soon, why not get one with more hp. Not into racing , just like the hatchback.
