My brake lights stay on all the time, even with car ignition off and key out. I replaced the fuse and can only guess that it is the brake light switch that may be stuck. Problem is that I can’t find it. Is it on the master cylinder or way under the brake pedal arm?

I Just brought a Nissan Altima 2006 with 50k miles, drive it the first day and behave just like new. The second day It didn’t start, i got only one key. I assumed the key is not working well, so it activates the inmobilization system that prevents the car to start. I wish somebody knows how to deactivate this system, so I get rid of the problem forever.
I don’t know much about cars, so I need some help. I’m looking into buying a 2000 Nissan Atima that has around 150,000 miles on it. It doesn’t really have anything mechanically wrong with it. Brakes were replaced less than a year ago, oil was always changed, etc. etc. How long will this car last me in terms of how many miles, and is it going to burn a hole in my wallet trying to repair everything every other month?
