That would depend where on the compressor it is leaking, whether it be where the lines connect or the compressor itself. If it’s the lines, there is a gasket or two orings, parts and labor with an evac and recharge @ 140.00 plus refrigerant, if it’s the compressor itself, not only will the compressor need to be replaced but the reciever dryer and expansion valve would need to be replaced and the system flushed costing ballpark @ 12-15 hundred parts and labor.
the above is correct, you can pick up a compressor for about 2-300, but the expansion valve and labor to change it and the compressor will bump it up quite a bit. you might get away with about 900-1000 with a really good mechanic.
