How Much Is Parts Motorcycle Worth?

i have a 2003 kawasaki ninja 250
and a 2001 suzuki boulavard s40
i dont have the titles so im tring to sell the as parts motorcycles. there is no major problems beside the batteries need to be replaced. does anyone know a good estimate of what i should try to sell them for?

Why don’t you have the titles?
If you’re legit, you can get the titles re-issued, IIRC.
By legal definition a “parts bike” is a rolling frame with a title or a motorcycle, complete or mostly complete that does not have a title at all. You seem to indicate the later. Parts bikes do not command much money at all. You could make more money by parting the bikes out yourself. But that still leaves you with the issue of disposal of the frames-landfills will not take them. And unless you cut the frames up into small metal bits metal scrap yards will not take them either.
The 2003 250 ninja is worth about 100 as a complete bike, about 400 if you part it out and sell the individual parts on ebay etc.
The 2001 Suzuki Savage is not worth much at all. Marginal bike at best, never a big seller. again, about what the lil ninja is worth above. I had a Suzuki Savage that I practically had to give away while parting it out, as they are just not big selling bikes at least here in the eastern US
If there isnt anything wrong with them and you are trying to sell them as a parts bike you should go to http://www.kbb.com/motorcycle?r=13181562… and get the values of the bikes and base it off of that price due to the fact of not having titles? you can get titles for them if you originally owned them just get the vin #s and go to your local tag office and apply for lost titles if you owned them of course if not then just base your price on the blue book values as far as what you sell them for as parts bikes. please email me at donjaun02@hotmail.com about them please looking for a bike as well.
‘more in parts than as a whole.’
just like the value menu at wendy’s, things are expected to be cheaper when you package them.
burger, fries, and a drink run you $5.79 when you order them as a ‘meal,’ but over $6 if you buy the same stuff individually. selling parts will yield you more money. I can’t do the math for a complete part-out, but realistically, you should only count on selling HALF the parts quickly. the rest will clutter your garage for a long time. consult eBay to see the going rate for each part, and get on a 250 forum to see what’s rare. if a certain part breaks a lot, it may command more money – but there are a billion ninja 250′s out there…
if you’re looking to sell the bikes as complete units, price frames for each on eBay, or craigslist. Then find the fair market value of each bike in complete condition, and subtract the price of a ‘new’ (titled) frame.
subtract another $500-$800, and you’ve got your value for a complete bike with no title.
so, for example purposes, let’s say that ninja 250 is worth $1500 in good shape. an eBay frame, with title goes for $280+100 shipping (???). $1500 – $380 = $1120
subtract a few hundo more for the trouble of swapping frames, and your bike is worth around $600 at best.
example numbers, but hopefully you see the reasoning behind my logic.
From the S40 I need the part that the right hand mirror screws into; not the whole master cylinder, just the one small part. Worth $15 delivered.
The whole S40, parted out, is worth well over $1000.
