Given that a qualified tech has inspected and diagnosed a bad ABS (wheel speed sensor) you must first know wich of the four is bad. To replace the speed sensor:
FRONT LEFT AND RIGHT
1 lift the side of the car that has the defective sensor and support it so it does not fall.
2 remove the front tire, brake caliper, pads, and rotor.
3 disconnect the speed sensor electrical connector.
4 unbolt and remove the speed sensor, this may require some penatrant lube, and twisting force. DO NOT BRAKE IT OFF in the hole. you may pry on it with a small prybar or screw driver but be polite, they can become brittle.
5 instell the new sensor and torque the retaining bolt to 8 newton meters/ 71 inchpounds.
6 reconnect the electrical connector.
7 assemble the rotor, caliper and pads, and tire.
8 lowerw the saturn back to the ground.
9 clear the abs codes (if nesessary)
REAR
pretty much the same prosses and torque value but there is a grommet in the rear backing plate of the brakes you must put the wiring harness through.
Are you sure that you need a sensor? was it diagnosed?
I take it to the saturn dealer and ask them to do it. stuff like that i have the deaelr take care of it or my manacin but when stuff that gose with the cars computer i have dealer do it. they have factory trained macanics.
