I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that i want to buy front brake pads for. There are two different sizes for the 6cyl version, the 6.2” and the 7.6”. How do i find out witch size fits mine? I dont have the original manual with the jeep either.

just go to auto parts and they will give you the right ones.
Pray and ask god.
Either you just go to auto zone or go to the dealership that you bought it from
If you have them off take them to the parts store to match up.
Or they can tell you by your VIN number (lower corner on drivers side windshield) .
Go to Autozone.com and look up you vehicle and look at the pictures. You have either Akebono or ATE. Your vin may not tell you as the dealers were upgrading the ATE to Akebonos after many problems with the ATE, or smaller caliper.
First you need to look at the calipers and see what color they are.black or silver them the dealer can tell you which set to get.yes jeep uses two styles. Or take one side off and walk or get a ride to your local parts store and show them the pads,
