a few opinions..this is solely mine? since when did all of a sudden did the fad come in of the pointed front end? its on the camaro to..kind of wish they rounded it out a bit more…
well said; honestly I go back and forth on IRS/solid axle; I understand the obvious benefits, but Motortrend and other mags moaned for years for a Mustang with IRS, then when they did it, they complained about wheel hop and some even said “well a solid rear axle hooks up just fine in my book” Now they’re back to solid axles and the mags are back to complaining about it. Ford is in a damned if they do, damned if they don’t position.
good point; those who know how will have fun with that engine; there will be some very fast 6 shooters running around.
i want the to hear the v8 bc these v6 has been out for about 3-6months and the v8 only 2months V8 needs to be reviewed
@pyro40t
He was also messing around so I think he was trying to drift in it.
mustangs were made with V6′s back in the 60′s too, the V8′s always got the spot light for obvious reasonses
lol, wheel hop at 1:13
The Mustang V6 is probably around 300+ lighter than the Camaro V6.
You’re funny.
Bullshit! I really dont care what anyone else has to say to this, but it ISNT a true mustang without a V8. Fuck the idea of putting v6 engines in American muscle remakes.
@elmer8, that is just your opinion
2011 is going to be a great year for the ‘stang with the new V6 and the new 5.0. I was never a fan of that 4.0 V6 and it finally has a nice engine for the base models. I’ll be eager to see the times on this one.
@andrestnt lemme know wen i can take off my dunce cap..lmao.
@MaxwellReviresco lol no problem
@andrestnt ur absolutely correct! wtf? lol. brain fart.
Yeah Seeing as the Hennessey Camaro is faster then the gt500 where all pony cars brag…0-60 and 1/4mile times…its just like the video above… the guy has the rear end sliding around all over the place with the mustang and they feel like its doing well…drifting slows a car down
@MaxwellReviresco the cobra has a 4.6L v8 281cid not 4.9L
man, those cars are a bunch of import tuners.
ummm may be you should look up Ford Shelby GT500 v Hennessey Camaro … the Hennessey is s/c and has more hp and is over 70k … and the gt500 came out on top for 30k less

Actually from what I know Holden is a subsidiary of GM. So Holden uses their motors to power their cars out in Australian. GM has been using the LS motor to power their truck line since 1997. Holden has also been evolved with Isuzu, Nissan, Suzuki, Toyota, and Vauxhall Motors models in sharing arrangements, with Daewoo, Opel and Isuzu so I guess they are all Australian too?
@pyro40t Chevy has always been the “there is no replacement for displacement” company, while Ford has always been the smaller high output type. In the case the GT500 it’s only a 5.4L 330ci with only 8.4:1 compression ratio, but its DOHC. While the SS is only a push rod OHV, but its a 6.2L 376ci motor with 10.4:1 compression ratio; so SC the SS wouldnt be fair either, it’s about traction here & that’s it. I race a stock 04Cobra 4.9L, 280.5ci DOHC 390hp & just a tire change gets me a 12.7@113.
YAY!!!! ITS HERE!!!! i cant wait until someone tries putiing an Eco-Boost engine into it
haha true. its australian(right?)
i dont think we should compare the camaro. its not american.
The GT500 is supercharged and the SS Camaro is not…thats what I was saying you cant compare the two cars next to one another unless you were to supercharge the Camaro then it would really be no contest because the Camaro would walk all over the GT500 and its skinny rear tires
good arguement.. retard
