This is a test of a centrifugal fan that I have converted to try and use it for micro hydro. The head on this site is about 1 meter but I am only able to get 0.5m due to the size of the turbine, this is why the nozzle is at the wrong angle. Currently the set up has no bearings, which is not helping and the nozzle has no means of automatically adjusting for flow. The alternator is a small Axial Flux single rotor unit that will designed to run at speeds greater then this turbine will produce, hens no light from the bulb.

I’m replacing the alternator belt on a 2000 dodge neon, and I’d like to know how to put the correct amount of tension on the new belt. I read the service manual for it and it says to use a special tool that measures frequency and pluck the belt a couple of times and adjust until the frequency reaches 224-252 Hz.
I obviouslly don’t have anything capable of measuring frequency so I was just wondering how I can tell if the belt is tightened up properly?

Here are some X7 Tips: 1. Adjusting the idle RPM: All you do is twist the throttle and find where the cord goes on the engine. When you find it, twist the throttle and you will see what motion it turns the little mechanism on the engine. There is a little screw on that mechanism that is used to adjust the idle throttle. Try not to make it too high, because the bike will want to start driving on its own. 2. The battery: The battery that comes with this bike is a low quality Chinese battery. It is not necessary for running the bike, in fact my bike didn’t even have one. It is only for the electric start. The alternator in the engine will keep the lights bright when under throttle. 3. Two-stroke Oil: This can be purchased at any store that sells lawn mower supplies, etc. Any questions, just ask! I would be happy to help!

I have a 1998 grand prix gt and i recently i had to invest into a new alternator and ever since i got it back from the auto repair shop the exhaust is very noticibly deeper and louder? is there any way this could happen?
