   actually about the only thing that is the same is the displacement the truck is a n/a non turbo mechanical fuel pump the bus is direct injected and has a turbo so ya…

   its a form of emergency power, that serves the brakes if the engine is lost, if you have a car… get it, turn it to on, DONT start it… put the brake on and pull it into drive, you will hear the buzz… it makes vacuum pressure so the brakes will work w/o the engine

    its a 1991 ford diesel, its got the 7.3 as the same in the bus like he said before, just not turboed and intercool
