1987 Pontiac Sunbird Thermostat replacement?

I have a 1987 sunbird and need to know how to replace the thermostat in it. It is a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder with a auto tranny. When i take the radiator cap off i can see the thermostat down there but dont know if there is any trick to doing it. Pleez Help.
pull that one straight out by the little handle provided and push the new one in
no trick, just yank it out. You may need a pair or pliers to break it loose. Make sure the new one seats flush.
